An american revolutionary publick house in the heart of melrose, Ma.
As Paul Revere readied himself for his midnight ride, other Sons of Liberty likewise prepared to spread the alarm. One nameless horseman departed to a place reputed for its unrelenting support for the rebel cause. Malden town, and in particular its local tavern, the Rising Eagle, had become the unofficial hub for independence. Although time and selective history have erased much of this heroic patriotism, our community’s innate love of country and specifically its love of this place we call home steadfastly persists. Welcome back to the Rising Eagle.
